Microsoft Office 365 is the cloud-based, Software-As-A-Service subscription version of Office 365.  It’s actually Microsoft’s fastest-selling product ever.  One of its most attractive features is that it offers businesses the opportunity to regularly receive the latest updated version of the software without having the upfront capital investment of purchasing software licenses for every employee.   Instead, business can subscribe to Office 365 licenses for employees starting at $5.00 per month for Business Essentials.  These subscriptions can easily be cancelled (or additional subscriptions purchased) each month as your employee count changes.  Each subscription of Office 365 can be installed on up to five devices (including phones and tablets)  and many versions actually include the downloadable desktop versions of the applications.

Aside from the pricing advantages, Office 365 offers its users an overall superior experience over the traditional Office 2016.  While allowing you to work in the familiar Office applications you’re already familiar with, Office 365 includes an ever-expanding list of free/included online-only applications and collaboration tools.
